God is consuming fire

๐Ÿ•Š️๐Ÿ”ฅ God is a Consuming Fire!
Jonah 1:1 Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,

2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city,
and cry against it;
for their wickedness is come up before me.

I want to share something that correlates me with this.
I was being afflicted years ago,
Keeping bad associations,
God told me repeatedly to end those relationships,
And at first i didn't,
Some of them i had known most of my life.

But the affliction was so heavy,
That these so called brothers and sisters,
Were basically calling me a demon,
Or a devil,
False prophet,
Liar.
Shut just completely out of saying anything.
Complete cast away in their sight.

It got so bad that the only thing left,
Was to get out of those relationships,
And follow the will of God.
That was the affliction and the chastisement of God,
For me to come and break away,
And be the man of God,
And do His bidding,
And preach what He wanted preached.
And not be partaker of their sins and their judgements.

When I finally left those bad associations,
And consecrated and dedicated,
Every day to God's call and will,
It was one of the greatest decisions,
I had ever made.

The most important thing,
That i'm able to do now,
Is i'm able to handle,
The anointed word,
Of the living God,
Through that consecration.

No longer keeping company with Gods enemies,
So called Christians,
And cutting of ties with them and,
Working full time in ministry.

Now as we walk you through this word,
And go from chastisement,
Which is the purpose of what?
Consecration or separation,
Or set apart to His will.

The purpose of chastisement,
Is to create a holy sanctified,
Consecrated life,
Set apart to God.

How did I get to the setting myself apart,
And consecrate it to every day of worship,
And honor and praise and proclamation,
It was the best decision I ever made,
Besides turning my life over to Jesus.

When one is in that consecrated sanctified,
Will of God,
One has assurance,
Of the promise of eternal life .

I can lay down at the end of the night,
Knowing that if i were to pass from this life,
My spirit and soul will be taken by two angel’s,
Up to the presence of God,
And He will say "well done."

There's not a speck of doubt in my mind,
All because of my consecrated life,
Evidenced by the fruit of God's Holy Spirit within me.

Now when I was running from Jesus,
My salvation was in doubt.

He makes us to doubt,
John 15.
So that we get it right.
So that you question your destiny,
Doubt sometimes is when God pulls His convicting presence,
And his convicting power,
From your heart.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-12.

And you as a natural man,
Have your wonders,
Have your doubts,
And you say “if God is real why is this happening?”
“And why is that?”

But see He’s trying to teach you something,
So, doubt is supposed to create repentance.

Now one thing before going back to Jonah,

What happens when we don’t do what He wants?
Almost anything can go wrong,
i have watched many of those,
i once called brothers and sisters,
Those who stood with me once,
And who have betrayed their Lord,
End up with all kinds of problems in their lives.
Desolate of God's presence.

So see, we are nobody special,
You’re flesh is frail,
In the best part of your day,
It's all vanity.

Who are you to think you,
Nothing will ever happen.
1 Corinthians 11:29-31.
Don’t you dare disrespect God,
And think He’s going to bypass,
And you're such a special person,
That nothing is ever going to happen to you.
Because you’re just you,
And on the basis of being you,
God gives you the respect you think you deserve.

Not at all.

You’ll lay open to all the forces of hell and evil,
That can come at you,
At one moment of time,
If you mess with the reverence of God.

He's a consuming fire.

And you're just fleeting.

Psalm 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

11 Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.

12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Deuteronomy 32:29
If only they were wise, they would understand it; they would comprehend their fate.

Psalm 39:1 I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

2 I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.

3 My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue,

4 Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am.

5 Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.

Psalm 144:3 Lord, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!

4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.

James 4:14
You do not even know what will happen tomorrow! What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

Job 8:9
For we were born yesterday and know nothing; our days on earth are but a shadow.

Psalm 39:11
You discipline and correct a man for his iniquity, consuming like a moth what he holds dear; surely each man is but a vapor. Selah

Psalm 102:11
My days are like lengthening shadows, and I wither away like grass.
